Hello and Welcome

Please note that all links on this site, with the exception of the links on the  "Forecasts" page, are designed to open in a new window. Therefore, the Back button on your browser will not work. You can simply close the window when done.

All the links on the "Forecasts" page, however, are links to other pages within this site, so the Back button will work, or click the Back button supplied on the page.

Have fun and enjoy . . . . .

You are, but would like to be removed?

Please feel free to use one of the links at the right.
When you first open my site, a pop-up window should appear displaying the current "Thought for the Day". If it does not appear, you probably have your pop-up blocker turned on. Please click here to view the current thought.

You can also visit the Archives page to view all thoughts that have been published.
Thank you for visiting my site. For those that have not been here before, the original (and main) purpose of this site was to display the current weather conditions at my place.

My official address is Mayfield West, but that wouldn't fit in the menu. If I stand in the medium strip in front of my house, I would be in Warabrook, so I chose that name. Please visit the Warabrook page to view the current conditions.

I have a weather station installed, and associated software allows me to transfer the current weather details to my site in the form of an image at a designated time interval.

At the moment, that interval is set at 10 minutes, but the file transfer does fail about 50% of the time. On average, the details should be no more than 20 minutes old.

Since I have had this site up and running, I have gradually tried to add new content and, as explained below, would appreciate new ideas to further enhance this site.
A new feature has been added to my site. I hope you like it and get some enjoyment out of it.

It is a puzzle section that includes Crosswords and Word Searches, both which can be played on line, or you can print out a user friendly copy.

Check it out by going to my
Puzzle Home Page

I would also appreciate some feedback as to it's user friendly status. Also, if you have any suggestions for any other types of puzzles or games you would like to see.
